Sunday October 4, 2020 from 2 pm EST to 7 pm EST/US Boston time the forums will be shut off for maintenance.

We're live, and functioning, though keeping a close eye on traffic.

These are difficult times for us all. Let's find our communities and hunker down.

Stay close to home as much as you can, but keep your distance when you must go out.

We're back but wobbly

Hi all

Thanks to a stellar effort from our volunteer support staff (thank you all!), we're back.

Things you should know:

We moved back the database a day; a few posts are missing. 

You'll see a new screen when you login. It's OK. It's just AW checking to see if you're a bot.

• We're back but we're still working on things. 

• The server will be a bit slow. We may have to turn it off occasionally. 

• We really appreciate your patience.

AbsoluteWrite We're closer! But please please please stop "just checking." Tell all your friends to just go write until I give the all clear. It's really hard for me and our kind expert to test when we have to deal with users.
